Getting to Blackpool

Blackpool is about 15 miles along the M55  from the M6 near Preston.
By train, there is a good service to Preston from London and Glasgow.

Local trains from Preston to Blackpool take 15-20 minutes.
The overall journey time from London Euston is about 3 hours, changing
at Preston. However there are now 2 direct services a day from
London. which are quicker.

There are direct trains to Blackpool from Leeds and Bradford.
There is a reasonable service from many places in the Midlands
by changing in Manchester; journey time from Manchester
about 1 hour 15 minutes.
