As well as exploring the Promenade and Golden Mile, there are easy to reach nature attractions

Sand Dunes

Take the tram to Starr Gate, then continue walking along the sea shore. There are about 2 miles of sand dunes nature reserve. Naked sunbathing takes place here in the better weather.

Ferry trip to Knott End.

Take the tram northbound to Fleetwood Ferry. There is a ferry across the River Wyre to Knott End, which is a small quiet seaside resort.
